A collection of unique activities aimed atĀ boosting the mental health of young children and other members of their family.
Every year thousands of schools, teachers, parents and storytellers become involved in National Storytelling Week’s annual celebration of storytelling. Marking its 22nd year, it is run by the Society for Storytelling, which aims to increase public awareness of the ‘art, practice and value of oral storytelling’.

Dear Parents,
All year 8,9 and 10 students are expected to study from school from tomorrow Tuesday 1st December until Friday 11th December. A copy of the letter which outlines the reasons for this decision can be found below.
Letter to Year 8_9 & 10 Re school closure
Due to the enforced closure of non-essential shops, Fashion Stop will be closed until we are allowed to reopen.
We understand that parents will still need school uniform.
We will be running a collect from shop at an arranged time and a home delivery for as small charge service which parents can use by messaging us on our dedicated school uniform mobile to make arrangements for purchase of school uniform.

Our GCSE students here at Eastlea Community School have cause to celebrateĀ after receiving some excellent exam results. After a challenging few months it is heartwarming to see the long term hard work and dedication of our students and staff pay off. Head of School Sarah Morgan said āWe are very proud to work with students who have shown great resilience and determination throughout their time at our schoolā.
Year 11 Andrei Nohai achieved an impressive eight Grade 9s, a Grade 8 and a Grade 7 . He has been described by his teachers asĀ āa great ambassador for the year groupā.Ā Other students who achieved a number of Grade 9s in their results were: Nusrat Hossain and Fatiha Tabassum.Ā Ā
Additionally Jennifer Moraisā hard work over her time at Eastlea has allowed her to make exceptional progress and on average she scored at least two grades above her target grades. We are very excited to report that she has been accepted into the prestigious Brit school and wish her luck for the future.Ā Other students who also made great progress were: Shannon Sunshine, Diana Ilie and Mohsin Khan. We would like to wish all of our Year 11 students the very best for the future.Ā
